No Fish Too Far

Vol. 26, No. 8

The Nob Hill Bar & Grill is well known for the freshness of its food. Going the extra mile, Barbara, assistant manager, and Greg, her husband and interpretive jazz dance partner, traveled to Homer Alaska, to catch halibut themselves. No sooner had the boat reached the fishing grounds than Barbara hooked a fiercely fighting halibut. She was struggling with the big fish and Greg would have helped but he is still intimidated by fish since that traumatic guppy incident in the third grade. Struggling bravely, Barbara finally pulled the 50-pound halibut on board. Greg missed all the action, having locked himself in the boat's head. While in Homer, Barbara and Greg made sure to stop into Nobby's "sister" bar, Kharacters, and visit old friends. So be sure to stop into Nobby's, where management goes to great lengths to please their customers.
